Besides the geometric intersection improvements at Sixth and Prairie, that street junction is seeing other work as well.
City Special Projects Coordinator Jim Witt has confirmed Xpress Wellness is planning a building at the southeast corner of the intersection and a pad has been poured. The official address will be 2031 West Sixth, with a 3,000-square-foot facility.
Xpress Wellness offers urgent care for both adult and pediatric patients, as well as sports medicine, employer services, workers compensation services, lab services and on-site diagnostic testing.
