Morris County deputies say a joint investigation with Herington Police led to an arrest on suspected drug distribution activity.
The Morris County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation took place April 14, with the department’s K-9 Kimber alerting to an illegal substance during a scan of a suspect’s vehicle and the resulting discovery of methamphetamine as part of a probable cause search.
Herington resident Anthony Sjodahl was arrested. Formal charges have been filed in Dickinson County, including possession of meth with intent to distribute up to 100 grams of the drug and possession of paraphernalia. Sjodahl, who pleaded no contest to meth distribution as part of a 2020 case and then had probation ended early last June, has a status hearing in this case at 1:30 pm Thursday.
