The Emporia High softball team swept Highland Park on Wednesday in Topeka.
Emporia High won the first game 18-0 in three innings and took the second game 20-1 also in three innings.
The sweep snapped the Lady Spartans’ 11-game losing streak.
In game one, Emporia High scored six runs in the first and 12 in the second.
Shaylee Ginter went 3-for-3 with four RBIs.
In game two, Emporia High scored 18 runs in the first two innings and tacked on two in the third.
Kaylee Reimer went 3-for-4 at the plate with five RBIs.
Emporia High is now 3-11 on the season. Up next for the Lady Spartans will be a home doubleheader on Friday against Iola.
