Emporia State University has a new head women’s basketball coach. Athletic Director David Spafford has announced the hiring of Brian Ostermann who has been an assistant at Kansas State since 2014.
Ostermann has also been an assistant at TCU, UMKC, and Missouri Western. He was also the Head Coach at Colby Community College and Missouri State-West Plains.
Emporia State Athletic Director David Spafford said that experience was part of what set him apart from the other candidates.
Ostermann takes over for Toby Wynn who stepped down at the end of this past season.
An introductory news conference will be held Tuesday.
