The Emporia State softball team closes out the regular season with a doubleheader at Washburn this afternoon.
The Lady Hornets go into the contest tied for 6th place in the MIAA standings with Missouri Western and two games back of Washburn who is in 5th place.
Emporia State Senior Roni Rains says they keep playing the way they have been.
The Emporia State softball team takes a record of 32-21 and a 12-12 MIAA record into the doubleheader.
The MIAA tournament begins Wednesday in Topeka.
