Central Oklahoma routed the Emporia State baseball team 20-6 Saturday.
Central scored 2 runs in the first inning and added 4 more in the 2nd inning and never looked back. They put the game out of reach with 7 runs in the 6th inning.
Emporia State Coach Seth Wheeler said it when downhill from the first inning.
For Emporia State Kadyn Williams hit a solo home run, Patryck Hernandez hit a 2-run home run and Gibrian Pena hit a 2-run home run.
The Hornets will close out their season this afternoon. The first pitch is set for 1 pm at Glennen Field at the Trusler Sports Complex. The game will be broadcast on MIX 104.9.
