Sentencing is coming at 10 am Tuesday for one man convicted of sexual misconduct against a teenager in Lyon County.
Last month, a jury found Harvey Kent Grandstaff guilty of aggravated indecent liberties following an incident in December 2021 involving Grandstaff and a 15-year-old. The jury acquitted Grandstaff of lewd and lascivious charges involving alleged activity with the same child between 2010 and 2012.
Judge Jeff Larson will preside.
Also Tuesday, a man accused in two criminal cases in Lyon County will have plea hearings for both.
Paul Kienast is charged with distributing up to 100 grams of methamphetamine in one case, and possession of drugs and stolen property in the other.
Hearings will be at 2:30 pm before Judge Laura Miser.
