The Emporia High boys golf team finished fourth at the Junction City Invitational Thursday.
Emporia High shot a 335, finishing one stroke behind Sacred Heart. The Spartans were 19 strokes behind team champion Manhattan and four behind runner-up Washburn Rural.
Caden Massey led Emporia High finishing in a tie for second with a 77.
Nolan Jacob was 17th with an 83.
Hudson Sauder finished in a tie for 21st with an 85.
Brayden Bowen finished in a tie for 37th with a 90.
Will Walker was 47th with a 94. Jared Johnson finished in a tie 48th with a 95.
Up next for Emporia High is its lone home tournament on Monday at Emporia Golf Course.
