The Flint Hills Technical College Board of Trustees will discuss budgets and policies at its monthly meeting.
Board members will have the first reading of the budget for the upcoming academic year, as well as a first reading of the academic master plan and a third reading of college vehicle policies.
Vice President for Advancement Mike Crouch will review the annual Gala and Benefit Auction that brought in over $202,000 for scholarships and the Wrangler Student Relief Fund. Reports on finances, student and instructional services, academic affairs and human resources will also be discussed.
Also, the board will get an update on changes in the marketing department. Deon Morrow replaces Bri Julo as the college’s director of marketing and social media and will begin next week. Graphic designer Taumi Boyce has assumed some additional social media duties during the transition.
The meeting is at 4 pm Monday at the Trusler Conference Room.
