A statewide silver alert for a missing Arkansas man has been canceled.
The alert was issued Sunday evening for 79-year-old Roy McGonigal Jr who had last been spotted in Newton. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation canceled the alert just after 11:30 pm after McGonigal was found safe in Schuyler, Nebraska.
KBI says McGonigal was “disoriented” when he was found but otherwise in “good condition.” Further details have not been divulged.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has issued a statewide silver alert for a missing Arkansas man.
Information is being sought as to the whereabouts of 79-year-old Roy McGonigal Jr who was last seen in Newton leaving a residence in the 400 block of East 10th Street. McGonigal is a white male, 5-8 inches tall with white a white beard and balding white hair.
McGonigal also uses an oxygen tank to breathe and was wearing a white collared shirt, black pants and black shoes driving a blue 2013 Toyota Corolla bearing the license plate USACRXD.
