For higher education, Emporia State has its commencement activities this weekend with events at White Auditorium:
*Postgraduate students will be honored at 6 pm Friday.
*Undergraduate students in Liberal Arts and Sciences, specifically those receiving degrees in arts, fine arts, interdisciplinary studies, music, nursing or science will be honored at 9:30 am Saturday.
*Undergraduate students in Business receiving degrees in arts, science or science in business will be honored at 2 pm Saturday.
Flint Hills Technical College will have its spring commencement activities at 11 am May 20 at White Auditorium.
