The Kansas City Royals walked off with a 4-3 win over the Chicago White Sox Thursday.
A bunt single by Freddy Fremin scored Nick Pratto for the win.
It was the Royals’ first walk-off victory of the season.
Michael Massey gave the Royals a 1-0 lead in the second inning with a solo home run.
Chicago tied the game in the third. The Royals took the lead in the fourth on a 2-run double by Maikel (my-kell) Garcia.
The White Sox tied the game at 3 in the eighth before the Royals walked off in the ninth.
The Royals begin at 3-game series in Milwaukee against the Brewers tonight.
Josh Taylor will be the starting pitcher for the Royals. The first pitch is set for 7:10 pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM. Coverage begins at 6:30 pm.
