The Milwaukee Brewers outscored the Kansas City Royals 5-1 Friday night.
Freddy Fermins home run in the 7th was the lone run for the Royals.
It is the 11th consecutive game the Royals have hit a home run, the longest current streak in the Majors.
The Royals and Brewers play again this evening. Zack Greinke will be the starting pitcher for the Royals.
The first pitch is set for 6:10 pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM beginning at 5:30 pm.
Salvador Perez was scratched from the Royals’ lineup Friday due to what manager Matt Quatraro described as “a little bit of blurry vision.”
Quatraro said Perez “already had received treatment from a specialist. It’s nothing long-term or serious.”
Perez had been in the original lineup as the designated hitter.
