Parts of northwest Coffey and southwest Osage counties spent time in a flash flood warning, but there are currently no reports of rainfall or flooding from that area.
Storms also caused some wind-related damage near Hartford, where a 10-inch diameter tree branch was downed, and in Reading, where several smaller tree branches were knocked down.
More showers and storms are possible Monday, with the National Weather Service mentioning flash flooding as a concern through the overnight hours into Monday morning. There is another chance of rain Thursday and Friday.

5:45 am Sunday: Mother Nature’s Mother’s Day gift could be spotty heavy rainfall
Mother’s Day is starting dry, but it could be soggy by the end of the holiday.
The National Weather Service expects slow-moving thunderstorms to develop by late morning and move across the area for much of the day after that. Rainfall rates could reach 2 inches an hour for northeast and east-central Kansas, including parts or all of the KVOE listening area — which could mean flooding for small creeks, low-lying areas or places with poor drainage. However, the Weather Service also says there could be areas that get no rain at all.
Showers and storms could linger into the overnight hours, with additional showers and storms possible Monday.
