3 walks, 2 errors, and a 3 run home run in the bottom of the 3rd inning for Milwaukee cost the Kansas City Royals Sunday in a 9-6 loss to the Brewers.
The Royals scored 1st on a Salvadore Perez home run in the 1st inning.
Bobby Witt Jr drove in 2 runs with a double in the 2nd inning and Salvadore Perez scored on a sacrifice fly in the 3rd to give the Royals a 4-1 lead. Then the wheels came off in the bottom of the 3rd when the Brewers scored 7 runs.
Hunter Dozier and Bobby Witt Jr each hit a home run in the 9th. That’s 13 consecutive games the Royals have hit a home run.
The Royals are in San Diego to face the Padres tonight. Brad Keller will be the starting pitcher for the Royals with the first pitch set for 8:40 this evening.
