The Emporia High softball team’s season ended Wednesday in a regional semifinal against Kapaun Mt. Carmel.
Kapaun defeated the Lady Spartans for the second time this season with an 11-0 victory in five innings.
Kapaun’s 10-run first inning was the difference maker in the contest.
Emporia High was held to four hits.
Emporia High finishes its season with a 5-16 record and graduates three seniors.
