Lyon County commissioners have an appropriation request and other expenses on the agenda for their action session Thursday.
Commissioners will consider a nearly $73,000 appropriation to Flint Hills Technical College. College President Caron Daugherty says the funding would reimburse the college for multiple programs after an initial discussion last year.
In other business, commissioners could approve a two-year, roughly $7,100 renewal of IT support through Sonicwall for the Courthouse and Extension offices. Commissioners could also approve a nearly $9,300 quote for what’s called a retroreflectometer and related accessories for the Highway Department. An emergency repair to a Courthouse chiller — with a price tag of over $17,000 — could also be approved.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
