Burlington is the only area softball team to advance to State. Burlington defeated Osage City 6-0 in the Anderson County 3A regional championship game. The 3A state tournament will be played in Manhattan.

At the Lyndon hosted regional played at Emporias’ Sodens Grove, Marion defeated Chase County 4-3 in the championship game.
In the semi-finals, Chase County outscored Southern Lyon County 14-9 and Marion defeated Lebo/Waverly 6-0.
Santa Fe Trail defeated Osage City 5-1 in the West Franklin Regional championship game.
