Emporians with children in Emporia Public Schools — and those that don’t but travel around Emporia schools — will see a change in traffic flow Friday.
Morning routines won’t change, but the adjustment comes at lunchtime instead of mid-afternoon for the district’s last day of classes. Students at all elementary schools will dismiss at 11:46 am. Students at Emporia High and Emporia Middle School will dismiss six minutes later.
Students at Jones Early Childhood Center are having their final day of classes Thursday.
