Chase County deputies made a pair of arrests after allegedly separate incidents early Saturday.
The first incident happened around midnight as part of a patrol on the Cottonwood Falls River Bridge. Deputies say they arrested Trenton Collins on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possessing paraphernalia and an outstanding Lyon County warrant.
The second arrest came on US Highway 50 around 2 am following a traffic stop. Deputies say they arrested Vondell Simmons on suspicion of child endangerment, driving under the influence, driving while revoked and possession of both marijuana and paraphernalia.
Further details about both arrests are pending. Formal charges are also pending.
