Emporia and Americus first responders were called to an injury accident near Americus Sunday afternoon.
Crews were toned out to the 2500 block of Road F, just over 11 miles northwest of Emporia and one mile north of Americus, around 2:45 pm. Full details are pending, however, the accident involved a single vehicle that was in a ditch on all four wheels when emergency crews arrived.
The driver of the vehicle, an unnamed 46-year-old female, was examined at the scene but did not require further medical treatment.
