Emporia State’s campus buildings will be closed to the public at the end of the work week.
ESU says the closure of all campus buildings and the cancellation of both in-person and online classes Thursday and Friday will let Evergy shut off power to the campus for maintenance work. While that project is underway, Emporia State’s Information Technology Department will test the university’s disaster recovery systems.
Campus will reopen May 30 after the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
