The Kansas City Royals were outscored by the Chicago White Sox 5-2 Sunday as the White Sox completed a 3-game sweep of the Royals.
The Royals scored first in the 2nd inning on a 2-run home run by Michael Massey.
The White Sox scored a run in the 4th inning and took the lead with 3 runs in the 5th inning and added a run in the 7th inning.
The Royals return to Kansas City to begin a 3-game series with the Detroit Tigers Monday night.
Brady Singer will be starting pitcher for the Royals with the first pitch at 6:40 pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM beginning at 6 pm.
