Lyon County Commissioners have finances, proclamations and price changes ahead of them when they convene for their regular action meeting Thursday morning.
Commissioners will consider the 2024 budget request from Kansas Legal Services, set to be presented by Ty Wheeler. Thursday’s request will be the third to come before commissioners following requests from Crosswinds Counseling and Wellness and the Lyon County Clerk’s Office Wednesday.
Prior to that, commissioners will consider a proclamaton for walk, run and bike week from the Multi Use Path Planning (MUPP) Board and a possible change in prices from Lyon County Area Transportation that, if approved, would go into effect on July 1. County Appraiser Ryan Janzen will also present a report on the 2023 certification of assessed values for real estate, personal property and oil & gas.
Three executive sessions are also on the agenda for the meeting that begins at 9 am Thursday inside of the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
