MJ Melendez drove in 2 runs. Bobby Witt Jr drove in a run and scored a run. The Royals did strand 10 baserunners and were 2 for 10 with runners in scoring position.
The Royals are off tonight. They begin a 3 game series with the Washington Nationals Friday night.
