Eastbound traffic on part of East Sixth Avenue will be constricted for a period of time, due to underground utility work.
The city of Emporia is reducing traffic flow down to one lane starting just east of Bunge. The work zone is about 100 feet and is now in place because of a collapsing storm sewer.
The city has not given an estimate on when traffic can resume normal flow in that part of Emporia.
