An investigation continues into allegedly illegal gaming machines at an Emporia convenience store.
Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission Government Relations Manager Randy Evans says the five seized machines from BP ar 2102 West Sixth on Monday met all three legal criteria for a gambling device — a prize, chance and consideration. Other machines in the store did not meet the criteria.
The joint effort from the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission and Emporia Police also led to the seizure of an ATM and an unspecified amount of cash.
No arrests have been made to this point.
