USD 253 Emporia Public Schools begins offering free meals to students next week.
Starting Tuesday, Walnut and William Allen White elementary schools will offer drive-thru pick-up lunches from 11:30 am to 1 pm weekdays — with the exception of July 3-4. Children can be from 1-18 years old, but they must be present at pickup for parents to receive meals.
Parents with questions about summer meals can call the district’s Food Service Department at 620-341-2382.
