Lyon County’s latest vehicle tag deadline is coming this week.
Residents with last names ending with the letters E, F or G need to renew their tags by Wednesday to avoid financial penalties. Current proof of insurance and a valid Kansas ID are needed to complete the process.
As has been the case for months, the Lyon County Treasurer’s Office is encouraging residents to use the QLess app for reserving their places in line, either by downloading the QLess mobile app, texting Lyon County Motor Vehicle to 620-254-9998 or by visiting the Quick Links section under lyoncounty.org.
Motor Vehicle Office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm weekdays.
