It’s set to be a busy summer at the Emporia Public Library.
The library is set to have its summer reading kickoff event at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
This year’s theme is “All Together Now.” Emporia Public Library Director Pauline Stacchini says this year’s theme is community, togetherness, and inclusion, which will be a part of Wednesday’s event.
Programs will be held every day Monday thru Friday. Those will range from storytimes and a variety of special events.
Also through June, every Wednesday at noon will be the Kids Koncerts, which have been a summer stable. Stacchini announced the lineup which starts on June 7.
