Court proceedings will continue next month for the suspect who allegedly brought a BB gun to Emporia High School in late March.
A pretrial conference for 14-year-old Arlo Gunnar Fueillerat was continued Tuesday afternoon in Lyon County District Court. Fueillerat recently received a “long-term placement” in Salina and was unable to secure transportation to Tuesday’s hearing.
Legal counsel requested the continuance to allow time to speak with Feuillerat in person before proceeding. Judge Laura Miser approved the continuance until June 20 at 2 pm.
Fueillerat faces one count of aggravated assault after he allegedly brought a BB gun to EHS triggering lockdowns at Emporia High, Emporia Middle School, USD 253 Transitions, Village Elementary and Flint Hills Technical College.
