Former Emporian Lucas Morgan, currently the Athletic Director at LSU-Shreveport, has been named the Red River Athletic Conference Athletic Director of the Year. The award is decided through a vote among all RRAC athletic directors. He also earned the honor in 2019. Morgan has been the AD at Shreveport since 2016.
After graduating from Emporia High School Morgan attended and played basketball at Dodge City Community College and Newman. He received degrees from Wichita State and Central Missouri.
