It is shaping up to be a damp start to Unbound Gravel Weekend with chances of isolated showers and thunderstorms remaining in the forecast.
Brief heavy rain began in Emporia right around 3:30 pm with more chances likely through the evening hours. While some isolated storms are possible, the likelihood of severe storm activity is relatively low according to TV-13 Meteorologist Jeremy Goodwin.
Moderate rainfall was noted in several locations following showers Thursday with some areas receiving next to nothing.
