The Emporia Senior Center says it is expanding its charitable gaming program.
Bingo will still be an option Tuesday nights, with doors opening at 5:30 pm and regular play beginning at 7 pm. Bingo has now been added to the Saturday afternoon schedule starting June 10, with doors opening at 2:30 pm and regular play beginning at 4.
Digital tablets are also available daily. They are offered at a minimum of $30 a person for 27 faces per game. Minimum payouts will be $30, with additional paper games available for purchase separately.
The center will keep offering its 50/50 raffles, pull tabs and “early bird specials.”
Proceeds help the Senior Center offer social and recreational opportunities for its members.
