Two Missouri residents were arrested on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop in Osage County Saturday morning.
According to Sheriff Chris Wells, a deputy initiated a traffic stop at milepost 12 on Kansas Highway 68 at 2:15 am for an undisclosed traffic violation. During the stop narcotics were allegedly located in the vehicle driven by 61-year-old William Rey of Belton, Missouri.
Rey and a passenger, 56-year-old Kayla Gulley of Stover, Missouri, were arrested and taken to the Osage County Jail. Rey is charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia while Gulley was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Formal charges are pending.
