Four Emporia area gardens will be featured Saturday as a part of the 2023 Emporia Garden Tour.
The tour will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. rain or shine. Attendees can begin the tour at any of the four tour stops.
One of the stops is Hetlinger Developmental Services at 707 South Commerical. Lyon County Extension Horticulturalist Travis Carmichael says conversations with Hetlinger made perfect sense.
Other tour stops include Bob and Brenda Redeker at 890 Road L, Susan, and David Mai at 1424 State Street, and Tim and Trish Dorsey at 2035 Prairie Lane
The cost for the tour is $5. You can purchase tickets in advance from any Master Gardener or at the Lyon County Extension Office. Tickets will also be available for purchase on the day of the tour at any of the four tour stops.
Attendees can also get their tickets signed by all four Master Gardners and be entered to win a gift basket.
