After being rained out last week the Emporia Spartan baseball team will try to play their season opener Wednesday night. They are scheduled to play at Andover.
Coach Anthony Markowitz wants the players to go out and compete.
This weekend the Spartans are scheduled to host the Sam Ellis Classic.
