The Kansas Department of Transportation has approved a quartet of bridge repair work zones in southern Osage County, along with another zone in Coffey County.
KDOT says all four bridges are on US Highway 75, and all four work zones are within three miles of the Coffey County line. Wildcat Construction and Subsidiaries won the project with a nearly $940,000 bid.
Bridge work is also coming to Coffey County as KDOT replaces a bridge about four miles northwest of Waverly. Reece Construction of Salina won the project with a $586,000 bid.
Meanwhile, a small part of Kansas Highway 99 in Wabaunsee County will get resurfaced. This involves roughly 0.8 miles of highway. Shilling Construction of Manhattan claimed the project with a $185,000 bid.
Construction timelines have not been announced with any of these projects.
