For the first time since COVID-19, Madison Days returned Saturday.
The day was full of activities for all ages beginning with a biscuits and gravy breakfast by the 1st Christian Church’s Youth Group.
Other activities throughout the day included goat roping, 3 on 3 basketball, bingo, History Talk with Bob, sand volleyball, a scavenger hunt, cornhole, a greasy pig round-up, and much more.
Organizer Jessica Canchola says Madison Days is stable for their community.
Madison resident and pastor of the 1st Christian Church Bob Robison says it’s an event that Madison looks forward to each and every year.
Robison added this year’s event is a time to reconnect.
With the event returning to the calendar for the first time in several years, Organizer Jessica Canchola says there are thoughts of adding new activities in the future.
The day’s festivities concluded with live music from Stewart Ray and karaoke.
