Emporia’s Shiloh Home of Hope is inviting the local community to a special gathering later this week.
Shiloh will host a community worship service at 615 Congress Friday night and all are welcome to attend. Emporia Rescue Mission Director Lee Alderman, a recent guest of KVOE’s Talk of Emporia, says the evening is all about instilling hope in others.
Shiloh Home of Hope is a Christian-based non-profit organization that offers housing and resources to local women over the age of 18. Maryanne Graves of Shiloh says just like Friday’s worship service, Shiloh is open to any and all women regardless of faith, background or race.
The community worship service will begin at 6:30 pm in the Shiloh parking lot, weather depending. In the event of inclement weather, Shiloh may look to move the service indoors.
