The Royals are off Thursday they will begin a 3-game series with the Los Angeles Angels on Friday.
Royals catcher Salvador Perez left Thursday’s game with a hand injury.
Before the game, the Royals learned that Vinnie Pasquantino is out for the rest of the season. He will undergo surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder.
