A man accused in Lyon County District Court of drug distribution and destroying evidence in the case has a preliminary hearing Thursday.
Christian Terrell was charged in May after allegedly having up to 100 “dosage units” of Ecstasy as part of an incident in mid-May. Besides drug distribution, Terrell is also charged with interfering with law enforcement.
Terrell’s hearing is at 2:30 pm Thursday before Judge Laura Miser.
Separately, a man accused of battery on and interference with law enforcement, drug possession and weapons possession counts has a hearing Thursday afternoon.
Victor Barajas was charged after an alleged incident in mid-March. He officially faces 10 counts, including one of battery, two of interference, and one each of possessing methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, DUI and transporting an open container. Having spent time in prison for a felony aggravated assault conviction, Barajas also faces single counts of criminal possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a firearm while under the influence.
The hearing is at 3:30 pm.
