A new lodging opportunity for visitors and others is coming to Chase County.
The Cottages at Meadowbrook is 1.5 miles south of Cottonwood Falls, featuring two fully-outfitted guesthouse cottages sitting on 35 total acres near Spring Creek. The properties are managed by Lark Inn Guesthouses and are owned by John & Catherine Campbell of McNee Family Farms.
The cottages — which actually qualify as “tiny houses” because of their size — are one-bedroom facilities, each with a king-sized bed, sleeping loft, queen-sized futon, full-sized kitchen and views of the Flint Hills in all directions.
The Chase County Chamber of Commerce has a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house at 6 pm Tuesday.
