Cornhole was the latest fundraiser for Newman Regional Health as the Denim and Diamonds signature event approaches.
Events Coordinator Michelle Margeson was pleased to report 15 teams participated.
The signature event is Aug. 4 at the Memorial Union Webb Hall, but Margeson also encouraged residents to watch for announcements about upcoming fundraising partnerships with local restaurants and Mr. G’s Express Car Wash.
Fundraising from these events, the kickoff barbecue and a golf tournament help the hospital buy a stereotactic mammography device, which pinpoints the exact location of breast masses for further study.
