The Kansas City Royals walked off with a 10-9 win over the Los Angeles Angels and ended a 10 game losing skid Saturday.
Samad Taylor drove in the winning run with his first major league hit.
The Royals were trailing the Angels 8-2 going to the bottom of the 7th. Bobby Witt Jr drove in 2 runs with a double, Witt Jr singled to drive in 2 runs to tie the game at 8. The Angels scored a run in the 9th. The Royals tied the game when Maikel Garcia drives in Dairon Blanco. Samad Taylor singled to drive in Garcia for the win.
The Royals and Angels play again Sunday. Zack Greinke will be the starting pitcher for the Royals. First pitch is set for 1:10 pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
