Two rounds of potentially severe storms lost their punch on their way to Emporia.
One cluster of storms got into southern Chase County before dissipating. A line of storms followed, triggering a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Chase and Greenwood counties, but no severe weather was actually reported.
