Play in the 2023 Dynamic Discs Open has come to a close.
The tournament wrapped up play Sunday afternoon following three days of competition featuring the best professional disc golfers in the world. Tournament Director Jackie Morris says it was an exciting week and credited the work of her team for helping make the tournament run smoothly.
A noticeable change from previous years was the separation of amateur and professional competitors between the Glass Blown Open, held in April, and this weekend’s event. Morris says the separation in play definitely led to a “different vibe” throughout the weekend.
As has been stated in recent years the sport of disc golf has grown significantly since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Morris says she does not expect that growth to slow down anytime soon.
