After a relatively short, budget-driven meeting Wednesday, Lyon County commissioners will touch on several topics for their action meeting Thursday.
A security matter will be addressed near the start of the meeting as commissioners consider the purchase of a new X-ray machine for the County Courthouse lobby. The estimated cost is almost $20,000.
Commissioners will also consider a Highway Department request to approve a $200,000 quote from Subsurface, Inc., to line two culverts on Americus Road as part of a High-Risk Rural Roads improvement project. In addition, Human resources Director Janice Huffman presents updates on various policies for approval.
Two executive sessions are planned, one each for non-elected personnel and legal matters.
Thursday’s meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
