CareArc has remodeled space at its Emporia headquarters into a brand-new medical wing, and the public is encouraged to see the new facility during a ribbon-cutting ceremony next week.
The ceremony, including remarks from Chief Executive Officer Renee Hively and facility tours, will be at 11:30 am Tuesday, shortly before the CareArc Board of Directors’ monthly meeting at noon.
Marketing Director Justin Ogleby tells KVOE News the new wing on the west side of the CareArc campus will be more patient-friendly and will include state-of-the-art equipment for patients. Ogleby also says the renovation incorporates primary physical health and behavioral health in the same space.
This is the first of two major renovation projects underway this year for CareArc. A new dental wing will be unveiled later this year, giving CareArc an opportunity to increase its traffic there. A $500,000 federal grant through the American Rescue Plan Act from the Health Resources and Services Administration is bolstering the renovations.
