Funding continues for the Amanda Rodriguez Memorial Scholarship with a big event Friday night.
The second annual fundraiser will feature door prizes, giveaways and live music performed by LaDezz. Rodriguez passed away from complications of COVID-19 in late 2020. Her brother, Nuestra Music host Vic Rodriguez, says Amanda Rodriguez touched a lot of lives while working in the USD 253 central office.
The event officially goes from 8 pm to midnight at the Del5ive Event Center, 802 Graham. This is a BYOB event with entry cost of $20 a person.
